The "Europa" Top is one of our favorites due to its unique and beautiful design. This top is made from a pattern purchased on PixieFaire.com, the "UK Holiday Top" by Liberty Jane Clothing, but with some Sew Stellar™ upgrades! The name is both a nod to the original designer's vision and inspired by one of Jupiter’s largest and most fascinating moons, Europa.
The Europa Top is a stylish tribute to the moon's rippling, textured surface, shaped by powerful tidal forces. Just as these forces carve ridges and waves into Europa's icy crust to form its beautifully layered landscape, this top utilizes multiple layers of elastic to create stunning gathered ruffles at the waist, neckline, and sleeves, creating a look that's both effortless and full of movement. The design allows for a comfortable, flexible fit—perfect for any adventure, whether you're exploring the stars or simply having fun on Earth! ✨

Designed for a feminine and flattering fit on all 18" dolls.
Raglan sleeves with elastic casings at the neckline and sleeve hems, creating a lovely ruched effect.
Double-folded hem at tunic-length bottom edge, with an applied drop waist elastic casing.
Top is meant to be worn with the elastic pulled up above the waist, creating a "bunched" effect with the fabric hanging over. However, it can also be worn pulled taut for a different look and longer length. (See last two photos.) You can also have fun pairing the top with a belt or ribbon waist tie for even more variety!
Fabric is a soft cotton with a light purple base and Elsa and snowflake print. Made using white thread.
Sew Stellar™ Upgrade: Finished with three clear plastic snaps for the closure in the back, an upgrade from our Standard Finish option of hook-and-loop tape (velcro).
